1. During the operation of the adjustable potentiometer, the problem of anodic oxidation may occur when direct current is allowed to flow through the moving contact of the potentiometer. In this case, it is best to connect the element with the negative end and the moving contact with the positive end.
2. When the control moving contact current is less than the limit current of the moving contact, in order to ensure the safety of the line, the load current of the adjustable potentiometer cannot be increased at will.
3. When the adjustable potentiometer is in use, the load should not exceed the rated power. For example, when the power dissipation exceeds the rated value, it will cause overheating and damage to the potentiometer.
